asociaţia visual kontakt este o platformă destinată tinerilor artişti. credem că intervalul critic în devenirea profesională a unui artist este cuprins între absolvirea studiilor şi primele contacte lucrative cu instituţiile conectate la piaţa de artă. lipsa de resurse caracteristică primilor ani ai independenţei îi împiedică deseori să creeze şi să se prezinte nestingherit. astfel, vizibilitatea lor rămâne scăzută, iar probabilitatea ca o galerie sau altă instituţie să îi susţină scade şi ea. un cerc vicios. visual kontakt este o etapă intermediară menită să le ofere sprijin în această perioadă critică.
asociaţia organizează lunar câte un vernisaj în spaţiile sale din oradea. selecţia se face de către domnul curator andrei ciurdărecu-torre şi pe bază de invitaţie din partea consiliului de administraţie.
visual kontakt asigură transportul artistului şi al lucrărilor sale, cazarea, mesele, baza tehnică (televizoare, proiectoare etc), promovarea şi organizarea vernisajelor. galeria nu percepe nicio taxă sau chirie şi nu reţine comision în urma eventualelor vânzări. de asemenea, nu acordă onorarii invitaţilor săi.
visual kontakt nu îşi asumă rolul de a reprezenta artişti pe piaţa de artă. invitaţiile sunt singulare şi nu implică automat colaborări ulterioare.
visual kontakt promovează doar artişti nereprezentaţi, care să beneficieze direct de pe urma susţinerii.
galeria acceptă doar proiecte de artist deja existente. nu organizăm nici expoziţii de grup, nici retrospective, nici rezidenţe în cadrul programului nostru regulat. acestea pot avea loc în mod extraordinar, în funcţie de dorinţa consiliului de administraţie.
visual kontakt administrează un spaţiu expoziţional la oradea şi unul la ulm, destinat artiştilor est-europeni, pe aceleaşi principii. de asemenea, în subordinea visual kontakt se editează publicaţiile culturale samizdat oradea şi samisdat ulm, sub conducerea doamnei redactor-şef ianc dorotea. în afară de acestea, asociaţia derulează proiecte de interes comunitar, pe speze proprii sau în parteneriat cu alte organizaţii, precum spaţiul expoziţional high school gallery din incinta colegiului naţional emanuil gojdu din oradea.
munca noastră are ca obiectiv crearea unui contact nemijlocit între artişti şi public, într-un cadru informal şi prietenos. prin activitatea noastră producem un flux constant de evenimente care participă la consolidarea şi dezvoltarea conştiinţei artistice a comunităţii noastre.

az egyesület havonta szervez egy tárlatot a nagyváradi helységekben. andrei ciurdărescu- torre választja ki a művészeket, akik a közigazgatási tanács által elküldött meghívó alapján mutatják be munkáikat az egyesület keretében.
a visual kontakt biztosítja a művész és a munkái szállítását, a elszállásolást, az étkezéseket/ a kosztot, a teknikai alapot (televíziók, vetítőgépek), a tárlat támogatását és megszervezését. a galéria nem hajt be semmilyen bér díjat és nem tart fenn jutalékot az esetleges eladások után. hasonlóképpen, az egyesület nem nyújt honoráriumot meghívottainak.
a visual kontakt nem válallja a művészek képviselését az itthoni művészpiacon. a meghívók egyedülállóak és nem foglalnak magukban utólagos együttműködéseket.
a visual kontakt csakis nem képviselt művészeket támogat, akik közvetlenül haszont élvezhetnek a támogatás után.
a galéria csakis már letező művészi terveket fogad el. nem szervezünk csoport kiállításokat, emlékkiállításokat, vagy rezidencia programokat a rendszeres tervünk keretében. ezek rendkivüli helyzetekben történhetnek, a közigazgatási tanács óhajától függően.
a visual kontakt vezet egy kiállítási helységet nagyváradon és egyet ulmban, amely a kelet-európai művészeknek van szánva és ugyanazokon az elveken alapszik mint a nagyváradi egyesület. hasonlóan, a visual kontakt alrendjében állnak a samizdat nagyvárad és samisdat ulm kulturális kiadványok, ianc dorotea főszerkesztő asszony vezetése alatt. ezeken kivül,
az egyesület közérdekű terveket hajt végre, saját költségén, vagy közreműködve más szervezetekkel, mint példáúl a high school gallery kiállító helység a nagyváradi emanuil gojdu középiskola keretében. a munkánk célja az, hogy egy közvetlen kapcsolatot teremtsünk a művészek és a közönség között, egy nem rideg, barátságos keretben. a tevékenységünk által egy változatlan esemény áramot állítunk elő, amely részt vesz a közösségünk művészeti öntudata megerősítésében.

about us

visual kontakt is a non-profit ngo which focuses on promoting culture locally. we offer our public artists’ projects, regardless of their field of activity, age or importance. the frame we create them is liberal and sets no conditions: presentation of the works, layout as well as interventions upon the exhibiting space are entirely up to the artist. at the end of each event, our rooms and utilities are brought back to their initial state on our own cost. visual kontakt also covers all expenses regarding transportation, organizing and promoting our events, as well as housing our guests.

our organization does not require payment or any material gain for its services. regarding buying and selling the works we exhibit, we are not willing to take part in any transactions, but also decline any profit in case they occur. however, we accept donations and sponsoring from people or other institutions as our main source of finance.

we believe art is closely linked to community. therefore, our activities focus on two key elements:

first of all on the relevance of the artist’s vision. we guarantee the freedom of all themes and forms of expression we work with. this freedom, however, requires a complex and mature approach of a given subject in each exhibit. visual kontakt only promotes project-based events. selection is made by our administration.

second, we emphasize on promoting art for the community and on the role it plays within it. our events are not singular or isolated moments for enjoying high art. we have developed an informal frame, with little contact and interest for academia. we focus more on creating relationships and promoting direct dialogue, be it between visitors and the artist or between people in general. we make no distinction between social background, gender, religion, race or nationality, neither for our artists, nor for our public. we want to create a friendly and secure environment for bringing community and art together.

apart from the artists we invite to work with us, our association is open for cooperation with other groups, offers hosting and also promotes its own activities. the latter are artistic projects with a social background and address tensions and problems inside society.

the purpose of visual kontakt is to offer a correct frame for developing a stable artistic milieu in the communities it works with. for oradea, we plan on creating a specific way of conceiving and making art. our interests cover a wide range of activities and we are looking forward to working with people and groups from other domains, in order to enforce local culture, and by its means, local community. which, in turn, once given the proper tools, will better understand itself and the city. we call this approach on society a minimetropolis.
